WELCOME

Joseph and I welcome you to our world--the world of writing and photography and all that is involved with being published authors. We hope you will come to know us...and our writings.

JOURNEY IN PHOTOS

Our love for photography leads us in two different directions. Joseph loves taking photographs of old barns and nature and using them to inspire him in his writings.

My love for photography led me to a business that I was just getting off the ground when he asked me to become his writing partner.  My blog for that "business" is www.vmwphotography.blogspot.com . I've not done a lot with vmwphotography since getting my feet wet with being a published author, but I still love taking photographs. I've even used some in our books. All of our covers are my work, with the exception of The Caregiver's Story.

This page will be used to share our photographs and our journey as writing partners.

SHOT TAKEN OUT MY CAR WINDOW

AUTUMN
The scent of fall lingers
in the crispy air,
The once green leaves of summer
now golden and brown
drift slowly one by one
to the ground.

The season changes slowly,
but inevitably waiting
for winter's arrival.
You can hear the familar cry
of wild geese flying south
for the winter. This is autumn.

It's difficult to accept at times.
Autumn is more than a season;
it is a time of reflection,
of nostalgia, of remembrance
of times past. It's nature's way
of saying goodbye.

All too soon, our book tour for October 2010 was over and Joe returned to his home in Illinois. Work began on the next book. It was to have a fifties theme, but turned out to be another book of short stories, titled Treasured Memories.

Wolter worked on a book telling of the challenges she faced in life that groomed her for the role as her mother's caregiver for four years. The Caregiver's Story and Treasured Memories were published August 2011.
